Dancing in the Sky / Josefina Castro & Daniel Ortiz

Starting their performance with Daniel singing "Shima Uta" (a traditional Japanese song) to the entire crowd, we could tell that we were in for an entertaining treat.

Their high flying act communicated a story of love lost and love gained throughout an enthralling 10 minute performance.

They have been practicing for about 8 years, which includes at a minimum 2 hours Monday through Friday of practice for the act itself. This does not include the other training they must do in order to prepare for the act, such as weight lifting and dance.

While there may be a lot of arguing between the pair (they even argued in front of me during the interview), it was clear that they were as close as siblings.

Watching the pair of Josefina and Daniel in their acrobatic story, you could not imagine a better pairing in the world. (Part-Time American)
