History Expressed Through History / Yusaku Mochizuki

Mochizuki has managed to channel the history of Japan using the art of juggling.

Starting from the origins of Japan and working his way to the modern day, Mochizuki utilizies a variety of Shinto and cultural aspects to influence his dance and clothing.

Mochizuki stated that the idea for this dance was conceptionalized 3 years ago and took a total of 6 months to fully realize.

There was a painting in the background which helped visualize the story, but the real painting was in his skills as a juggler.

This is also reflected in the music which is used immaculately in tandem with his superb juggling skills.

Even a tap dancing section where he used a pad to emulated a xylophone was tastefully done to communicate his story.

If you get a chance, please take the time to watch this championship-caliber juggler. (Part-time American)
