Beautiful danger / Les Vrais Majors
Speaking of Europian cool soldiers, we Japanese visualize impassive soldiers in Buckingham Paalace, Basilica di San Pietro in Vaticano, Syntagma Square, etc.
But these four are a bit different.
Amusing friendly soldiers from a distance, good looking guys in front of your eyes...
...Danger! Please, keep away!
The producer of this world cup found them in France and invited them for the special project of clowns.

The boss Astor, friendly Hector, good singer Salvador, and naughty drummer Trevor came from Belgium to Japan for the first time.
They seemed to be excited about everything they found in Shizuoka.
Especially, the size of apples knocked down them.
Apples are around 200 g in Europe, while in Japan they are around 300 g.
Please eat a lot and enjoy!

Universal talk show / Willer Nicolodi
A man and a mouse chat, chat and chat very merrily.
Their conversation makes us laugh and happy, though we cannot understand the content of their conversations completely.
Their debut in Japan at the preview show made huge amount of chuckles.
The following morning, a lot of childish giggles surrounded them.
A man is Willer, a Swiss man born in Spain. His cute partner is Joselito, a Mexican mouse made in the States.
Six years ago, Willer fell in love with Joselito's attractive face,
then Willer changed his partner from a bird to a mouse, and now Joselito chats like a bird.
Everyone should be astonished at that they have studied Japanese only for a month.
Perhaps they are very good at mastering a new languages, as they grew up in multilingual situation. I feel a tinge of envy...
However, their performance teaches us the importance of feeling. Don't think! feel!
Shall we overcome the linguistic barrier with their universal performance?

Wonder in the air/HYDRAGON
Last years champion has yet to entrance the crowed again. HYDRAGON are a group formed four years ago but the two of them have known each other for more than thirty years. They have been to many countries such as Italy, Belguim, Spain, South Korea and so on but they say their tour has just begun.
They peform brave aerial acts high in the air along the sound of the accordion. With no harness or any soft landing on the ground, it is thrilling to watch them. They make even the most difficult move look easy and simple with a smile upon their face.
They enjoyed sharing the same emotions as the crowed and are happy to be here for the third time. Everyone should watch and experience the wonder of HYDRAGON in the air. It doesn't matter how old you are or if you understand French, HYDRAGON will awe you just the same!

He comes to Shizuoka with his amazing trick that Shizuoka hasn't seen before. It is called a reverse tablecloth trick.
Many of you might see simple tablecloth putting off trick but, Mat is able to put a tablecloth back on a table underneath all the object.
This trick doesn't have any secreat. Only 10 years practicies can make this trick comes true.
He is the only man who can do this in the world.
Simple tablecloth pulling off
A tablecloth putting back on
He visited Japan several times and he also taught his tablecloth putting off trick to a Japanese famous actor Sakai Masaaki.
You can't miss his great performance and his elegant movement. He is the coolest man in Shizuoka this season.

The Dream Team: Lucy Brouillard, Angela Hitch and Liz Small
This year, 3 face painters have come from around the world to Daidogei! They are Canadians Lucy and Angela as well as the British Liz.
Pioneer of Daidogei face painting and 30 year veteran and, winner of the world 2009 face painting and 2010 body painting champion, Lucy is back for her 15th year! 18 and broke during a trip through Europe, a friend's crayons and a local festival provided her with the first of her many face painting sessions.
As for Liz, she has been doing face painting for 16 years. Invited to the event by her friend Lucy, they have now appeared together 9 times. According to her, she uses a very different, brighter, color palette and many butterflies when she works in Japan than in any other country. Her favorite thing however, is when she can create an image to match kimono.
And finally, in her Daidogei debut, is Angela. A face painter for 7 years, she found herself drawn to face painting when searching for makeup that works well on children in her theater work. Also invited to the event by Lucy, she is extremely excited and finds herself very lucky to be here in Shizuoka. Her specialty, is scary things or "boyish" images.
She says "We call ourselves the dream team," when speaking of the three of them who now reside in Canada.
As for your own design, just leave it to them and enjoy your orginal face painting!
These talented women can be found in the same location every day this weekend. Even on the first day, their work is already popular! Why don't you go check them out and become the inspiration for these women's next work of art? <MII>
