DAIDOGEI WORLD CUP IN SHIZUOKA

First, we would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to those effected by the Coronavirus.

Our hearts go out to the doctors, nurses, health and social care professionals on the front lines of this pandemic.

We are sorry to announce this unfortunate news but we have decided not to hold the DAIDOGEI WORLD CUP IN SHIZUOKA for this year too.

After many difficult discussions we have decided again to postpone the 29th anniversary of the festival until next year.

Our thoughts go out to the many thousands of artists, writers, producers and staff organizers around the world whose careers have been put on hold throughout this very difficult period.

This decision was not taken lightly, we have spent the recent months listening to advice from the government, healthcare professionals, residents and many more, however, in light of the present circumstances it was unavoidable.

Public health and safety must and will always be our number one priority.

We look forward to seeing you all in 2022.
