You could be one of the performer!/Leandre

Audiences are waiting for Leandre to make an entrance, and suprisingly he comes out of the crowd.
He had blended into the crowd like a ghost, and that's why we could not know his presence.
Suddenly by a surprised voice of the audience, he makes his entrance on the stage.
His performance is not the same all the time!!
I can understand why he and his audiences match, he doesn't feel difficulty
by difference of language, because he mainly uses body language.
He engages his audience by using daily stuff.
The audience become confused when his or her name is called to join the performance, but when they finish their part,
we can see the accomplishment and feeling of unity on their faces.
Leandre has performed at this DAIDOGEI event before, and he likes it very much.
Would you like to be a performer?

It's a joyful show time!/ Performer Kana

Everyone knows Performer Kana who appears frequently in Daidogei World
Cup.
Along with her excellent flexibility and dynamic in her ballet dance,
she has her own distinctive talk which grabs hold of the audience.

This year being the eight year performing in Daidogei, it is the first
time Kana has made apperance in the on-stage division.
"I feel nervous to be competing against skillful artists, but I feel very
honored," saids Kana with a great smile.

With her genuine smile, you will never guess how much hardship she has
gone through. Eerytime she feels discouraged, she thinks about
"performing a great stage at the Daidogei" for her audience.
Her strong belief of "working hard to make people happy" has been her
driving force.

Having a great smile and making improvements on every stage,
many people becomes in love with Kana's performance.

Don't miss Kana's performance, you will be next in falling captive to her performance!

Powerful but graceful rollerskating acrobatics /SKATING PILAR

This is really something you definitely do not want to miss at DAIDOGEI WORLD CUP in Shizuoka this year!!
The show is held by two beautiful siblings in gorgeous blue and white cpostumes!
The show consists of acrobatics and rollerskating.
You can see the pictures avobe but I really recommend you should wathch it with your own eyes.
They do series of spectacular tricks on a too small circular stage for rollerskating.
It is just 2meters in diameter.
Yet their show is amazingly powerful ,thrilling but the every movement is amazingly graceful!

No wonder Jonathan and Solenn, these two siblings from France won bronze crown at Monte Carlo international circus festival in 2012,
which is called "the Olympic Games of Circus acts".

They grew up in a circus family and now they are the 5th generation.
Having started skating at the age of 5, both of them have been doing this acrobatic rollerskating show for 5years.
The highlight of the show is almost every second!!

I truly believe that they will receive the DAIDOGEI World Cup Champion this year in 2012.

At the beginning of the show, they are a little bit shy but gradually rise up into becky's original fantasy show in which they move a big hoops together in round motion with Becky, who is catching many hoops at the same time.
In case of some audience engaged who is not following her intension and causing laughter, she recognised of it as one-part of show. At last, she caught all of hula-hoops and hooped them.
Since she likes performancing and practicing so much, she feel no stress at all when she fail. She said, "I can't imagine doing other thing". She loves street performance so much.
"I came to Japan for the first time. Audience in Shizuoka are so nice that I spoke a lot than usual". For your information, she speaks Japanese in her performance time. Besides her wonderful performance, her wonderful smile and consideration also made us happy. (雪/Kana)

Gentlemen VS a tent, a fierce battle begins!?/ Petit Monsieur

When is the last time you have fought a tent for your life?
Well, ask Petit Monsieur, who is an expert at
battling against a tent.

With his excellent skills in pantomime, you can clearly see
that he is fighting to get his tent to stay obedient. The tent
fights back, refusing to obey orders. With his life at stake,
Petit becomes increasingly desperate to win the fight.

Contrary from the image of Petit fighting fiercely in his performance,
he is very calm, friendly, and has a good sense of humor.

We asked if the tent was strong, and he laughed and told us that
“it is very strong. In fact, it is specially customized so that
it doesn't break on the stage.”

Come and watch the show for yourselves, you will be
blown away with laughter from the creative performance
that Petit Monsieur has put together.

This may be your only chance to see a battle between
a gentleman and a camping equipment!
