A Diverse Japanese Circus / UMPTEMP

This Japanese troupe of 5 entertains children and
adults alike with its wide range of music and acrobatic
styles. An eclectic mix of music combines traditional
Japanese melodies and instruments (among them the
shamisen) with a modern dance sound and even some
country tunes! You can also see juggling, acrobatics,
and Edo kagura (sacred dancing and music from
Shinto shrines) from over 400 years ago in this truly
unique performance. Don't miss out for an interesting
variety show of entertainment, history, and culture.

A World Without Gravity / REMI MARTIN

Joining Daidogei (and visiting Japan) for the first time, Remi Martin
is enjoying the fine weather and friendly people while impressing
everyone with his talent. At age 25, Remi has mastered gravity.
The German native is as at home on the Chinese pole as a spider
to its web. And with over 5 years of training, it's no surprise!



You won't want to miss his dramatic, spell-binding performance
combining art and gravity-defying acrobatics. "Please come see
me live," Remi asks. An appreciative audience is his inspiration while
performing, so come, enjoy, and watch in awe as he takes your
breath away through feats of balance unlike any seen before!

幻想的な世界へようこそ！／デュオ ゴロジ

デュオ　ゴロジはベラルーシから来た二人組で、エアリアルという空中での演技を見せてくれます。

始まる直前には大勢の人でいっぱいでとってもにぎやか。
しかし、音楽が鳴り始め二人が動きだした瞬間から場の空気がガラリと一変。
一瞬のうちに辺りが不思議な雰囲気に包まれました。

まず始めは優雅なダンスから。そして地上から空中へと舞台を移します。
真っ白い衣装に身を包んだ二人が宙で舞う姿はとても幻想的で、かつ迫力があります。
屋外で見ることができるなんて信じられません。





二人は1999年からこのパフォーマンスを始めて世界中を回っているそうです。
今回は屋外での演技でしたが、二人の故郷のベラルーシでは寒くて屋外ではできないとのこと。
屋外でやるのは日本が初めてだそうです。

高い場所での演技は見ているとドキドキしますが、どのような感じなのかと質問すると、
はじめは少し怖いけれど、上に上がると普通になってくるという答えが。
とっても気さくな方たちでした。

メッセージをお願いすると、
日本の方は、親しみやすく、笑顔でいてくれてうれしいそうです。
多くの人が立ち止まって見てくれて、大道芸を楽しむ魂を持っていると話してくれました。
